While cooking on burning wood or other available biomass the SCORE stove generates the heat and transforms it into acoustic power to be finally turned into electricity.
This fantastic idea could solve all kinds of problems you might have had your laptop a flat battery. The product is currently tested in Nepal so if the results of the test are successful, we will be here to make sure our gadgets remain charged. The SCORE stove is supposed to weigh 10 - 20 kilograms while still using at least one kilogram of fuel like dung or wood. The SCORE stove is aimed to hit the kitchens sometime in 2012.
