Students at MIT named Carnaven Chiu, Xiao Xiao, Keywon Chung, and Peggy Chi came up with a rather interesting clothing concept offering an interactive jacket to be designed for stress relieving reasons. This futuristic jacket claims to be capable to eliminate your stress. Titled SOS and standing for stress outsourced, this is a peer-to-peer network making it possible for unknown or known users to transmit massages in order to get rid of stress.
The users willing to transmit a therapeutic massage should be connected to such a social community as Twitter or Face book. Principle of operation is that when someone feels stressed, he or she sends a special stress signal to anyone wearing the same SOS jacket. Once your friends get this signal, they will transmit you a massage signal so that you could feel better.
Once such a massage signal was received, a jacket will be giving some massage strokes. SOS jacket is fitted with special actuators responsible for a massage with buttons also being present in the jacket. The interesting thing about this clothing concept is that there can be people from all around the world sending a massage signals to you once you are stressed.
Everybody knows what a gadget is and what functions it has. However, the topic of functions might be a blurred one, as there are myriads of gadgets with different functions and methods of usage.
